Unlocking my phone under contract?

Hi, i've recently moved to spain and i need a local SIM to use here. I have an Iphone that i bought back in january and i am still paying for it monthly, can i/what do i have to do in order to unlock it? and if i could, would i have to pay off the entirety of my contract? i still plan to use my EE card in the future when i go back to the UK so it would be great if i could still pay monthly as i am now instead of paying off the whole thing in order to use my phone abroad for a few months. Thank You.

Re: Unlocking my phone under contract?

You may unlock your phone w/out having to cancel your contract or paying it off. It will cost just £8.99 if you do it anytime before the end of the min. term. Just use that form.

Re: Unlocking my phone under contract?

If the device had been on your contract for at least 6 months, even if that contract has now been cancelled, you can just apply using the Unlocking your device form as the Pay Monthly option and giving the mobile number that it originally came with.
