Unlocking issues

I was given a phone by a relative and it appeared to be locked, we have filled out the unlocking form and there was an issue finding the IMEI number, recently we called and EE said that they would send an unlock code to my relatives email in the next ten days, those ten days pass and still nothing on the 12th day of waiting. The contract for the phone has been finished and I'm going away soon and am in urgent need of the phone to be unlocked so I can put my sim in (I am with a different mobile network) and use it again normally, please could someone help as it's quite frustrating after all the time I've waited.

There is no specific account access on these forums so you will need to call CS on 150 for more specific information on your unlocking issue.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.
