Unlock Phone

Hi I was on a monthly plan today I upgraded and the guy that was helping me swap all the things over asked what i was doing with the phone I asked if I could get it unlocked to use on a different network he said I would have to do it online I have come home to do it and it says it would cost £8.99 I was told it would be free as I have only changed my contract recently and also because I have been an EE Customer for so long and still i am I still have a contract with yourselves just an upgrade culd you please unlock my phone for me I have filled in a request form but am not willing to pay £8.99 sorry as I was told otherwise

You can just apply using the Unlocking your device form as the Pay Monthly option and giving the mobile number that it originally came with. It will first show your current phone on that number, if any, & ask whether that is the device you want to unlock? If not, you will then have to type in the IMEI of the old phone. 

 

As you have completed the contract term it will be free, whatever it says.
