Unblock lost phone

I lost my phone back in April, I knew it could only be around the house due to timescales and last time I'd used it etc but spent three days searching the house with no joy. Sure as shot I have recently found it in the garden...damaged & water damaged as could be expected & it doesn't even turn on. I suspect the dog or kids to have played a part in its disappearance! However I was looking to recycle it as it is of no use to me whatsoever but when I've checked it would need to be unblocked. To note it wasn't locked it was blocked by EE when I logged it as lost. Again I have read this makes a difference.

Is EE able to unblock the device now so I can recycle it does anyone know?

Thanks in advance

Re: Unblock lost phone

@Mrspip. You can not request it to be unblock as you will be committing fraud. The device was replaced via a insurance policy.

@Mrspip Did you get a replacement device via insurance?
