I have a Google Pixel older than 6 months and tried to get it unlocked form carrier by calling customer service but... got a refuse. The reason was foggy and without other details, just: "we can tell you the reason because you are not the owner".
Befor buying it I have check to see if IMEI is blacklisted on multiple sites, all of them show the device as: CLEAN.
Not sure what to do now, is there another way to get it unlocked from carrier?
Apreciate your response.

Hello @andrei_niamtu if you purchased the device yourself you can use the online form to unlock it after 6 months. If it is a second hand device you can only unlock it through customer service on 150 from an EE mobile or landline or 0800 956 6000 options 2, 4 and there will be an unlocking charge of £8.99:

The device is a second hand device, I am not the original owner. This is my problem:
customer service on 150 from an EE mobile or landline or 0800 956 6000 options 2, 4
I get a refuse: "we can tell you the reason because you are not the owner".

If it has been blacklisted then no EE will not unlock it for you under any circumstances I am sorry you will need to contact the seller for a resolution. 🙂

I have check it via CheckMEND. Here are the rezults:
Database Checks Performed
Ever blocked Caution
Currently blocked Clear
Insurance claim Clear
Possible counterfeit Clear
Registered owner Clear
Possible clone Clear
Contract status Clear
Recipero AssetWatchTM Clear
As per CheckMEND:
Ever blocked: The device has been reported lost or stolen in
the past to a mobile network operator (“MNO”).
Currently blocked: The device is not currently recorded as
lost or stolen by MNOs who share their data with us.
It looks like the device was blacklisted, but is not anymore, So I see no issues here....

I am unable to contact the person from which I've both the phone, and I am not even sure that he is the original owner. I am stuck here:
device is not blacklisted
EE is unable to unlock it...
If there is another option like paying an extra fee.... beside that £8.99, I am wiling to do it...
I don't know what to do from this point.
Appreciate any other options you can provide.

This is understandable, and I am not asking for information about the account status, only for another resolution.
Not sure what other option I have now... I am just stuck with a brick now..
Please let me know about other options I can follow, besides thouse mentioned here already.
Apreciate your time

You will need to try a third party unlocking site.

Could you please give me some examples for third party unlocking site.
Apreciate your answer.
