I've transferred my number to EE, I got a text saying it's complete but now how do I do to 'register' it as such?

Morning @Michaelamumford,

Welcome to EE great to have you with us.

Are you trying to register for a My EE account?

Your number will be registered for you as @XRaySpeX has advised 🙂

Re: Transfer my number to EE from giffgaff

I have just transfered my number from Vodafone to EE..

Requested the change at 12.15 yeaterday, was told it would change between 5.30 and midnight tonight... recived a text to say it had been done 1.30 ..

I turned my handset off and back on and it was sorted, tested dial in and out ad all OK..

Only thing I had was the phone number showing for the SIM in the settings menu of the handset was still showing the temp EE number I had (call ID was not affected) .. I started a chat online with Brian in EE technical who sent an update to the SIM, said it may take 24 hours, but may not work and a blank SIM may need to be sent..

Restarted the handset about 3-4 times over 5 mins and it updated the stored SIM number to my ported number...

Stuart
