Think my phone is locked to UK, how do I go about unlocking it from Italy

Hi all,

I have recently moved to italy for education and paid to have my phones network unlocked so I could get a more international call friendly contract.

Unfortunately, other SIMs I have tried do not work in the phone, and someone from a phone network shop here said it may be locked to the UK.

How would i go about unlocking this please?

Many thanks

Did you buy this device yourself new direct from EE or is it 2nd-hand? The process & costs are different.

Who did you pay to have it unlocked?

Hi @os8631

Welcome to the community. It sounds like you have a fantastic opportunity, studying abroad. 🙂

Further to @XRaySpeX's questions, when did you request the unlock?

If it was from EE, did the charge go onto your bill?
