Phone unlock

I've requested my phone be unlocked and waited 10 days but have had no further contact since the original email. I cannot ring as i am in Australia.

Did you buy this device yourself new direct from EE or is it 2nd-hand? The process & costs are different. How did you request the unlock?

Through ee just under 2 years ago. I requested the unlock via the online form. I had an email saying it would take 72 hours or 10 days (but there'd be a text if it was that long). I've heard nothing so far.
