Overseas help please

Hi, due to CV-19 I have left UK and I'm now in New Zealand. I wish to use my phone here but I need to unlock the network. My phone acct is all paid up and closed, but I haven't had the phone for more than 6 months yet. Due to coronavirus, do you think EE would mind unlocking the phone for me?

If your account is paid off then the 6 month clause doesn't apply.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

I've been trying to figure out how to unlock my phone and I can't seem to do it. I want someone from EE to please help unlock my phone so that I can please use it in NZ.

 

What information do you need from me so that you can help me unlock my phone 🙂

Hi Katie,

 

I do appreciate you helping me out, but nothing is working with the form sorry. I'm using my Huawei P30 Lite which I bought last year Nov as my other phone broke. I moved back to NZ last month due to covid-19 and I called the EE company to help me cancel my phone plan and pay off the remaining bill which was 540 pounds or so. 

 

I didn't realise that when I got to NZ that my phone will be locked. So I can't complete the form to due not having a UK number anymore and it costs a lot of money to make international calls.

 

Is there any way that you can please help me over the emails to get my phone unlocked for me at all please as I'd like to use my phone here in NZ and don't want to wait for 18 months or so for it to be unlocked please.
