Orange network unlock

Hi,

I have a Samsung E1120 locked on the orange network. I do not have any orange sims and ee sims do not work.

How am I able to either unlock the device or receive an orange similar?

Thanks.

Re: Orange network unlock

I told you in my previous replies. Either:

  1. Get EE to unlock it.
  2. Get EE to send you a replacement Orange SIM.

You've no other options but to bin it.

Re: Orange network unlock

Did you buy this device yourself new direct from EE or is it 2nd-hand? The process & costs are different.

If it is 2nd-hand, you can't just register a PAYG SIM you just bought for it in order to unlock it.

Re: Orange network unlock

Thanks for the reply.

I brought the device new many years ago from a store. Not entirely sure which one, but could have been Argos or Sainsbury's.

Re: Orange network unlock

To unlock a phone not bought directly from EE you need to call Customer Services on 0800 956 6000 (option 2, option 4) to put you in touch with the Unlocking Team to request an Unlock Code. You will be asked for your email addy. They will take payment (of £8.99) from any valid UK bank card.

Once the process has been started you will receive an email from the Unlocking Team to process the unlock. It can take up to 10 days to complete the unlock.

Re: Orange network unlock

Is it possible to request an orange sim card?

Could you recommend any alternatives to be able to use the handset without being charged?

Re: Orange network unlock

You'll need to phone CS for a replacement Orange SIM. You'll need to know the original no. New Orange SIMs are no longer issued.

Re: Orange network unlock

With the ee sim inserted, the phone asks for a network unlock code and will not boot, how can this be solved?
