Network unlocked

Hi I have 2 previous pay monthly phones, 1 which is recent and the other is from a while ago. Will there be a charge to unlock these?

Re: Network unlocked

Are you wanting to unlock both? You can't until they are at least 6 months old. Otherwise there will be a charge of £8.99 unless the contract has gone over its min. term.

Did you buy these devices yourself new direct from EE or are they 2nd-hand? The process & costs are different.

Re: Network unlocked

If the device had been on your contract for at least 6 months, even if that contract has now been cancelled, you can just apply using the Unlocking your device form as the Pay Monthly option and giving the mobile number that it originally came with. It will first show your new current phone on that number, if any, & ask whether that is the device you want to unlock? If not, you will then have to type in the IMEI of the old phone.

In your OP you said "previous". What did you mean by that? That they are now cancelled contracts or that they had since been upgraded?

Hi @MRolo

Welcome to the community. 🙂

How did you get on with the unlocking form that @XRaySpeX referred to?

Re: Network unlocked

@XRaySpeX what I meant by previous is i upgraded from the s6 to the s8 and recently upgraded to the s10, so both phones were my previous pay monthly phones.

I have since filled the Unlock My Phone form in and I am waiting for a reply.
