I've been attempting to access simswap for a few days but it doesn't work.

I've tried to upgrade to my new SIM but every time I try the service reports that it is currently unavailable and will be up shortly.

the web address I'm using is ee.co.uk/simswap

I've just tried the link and it seems to be working for me, have you tried clearing cookies and cache in your web browser settings?

 

What is the replacement SIM for?

After fifteen plus attempts entering my phone number and the word and clicking submit all I get back is a message that the service is currently down and will be up shortly. I’ve used my old phone and my laptop with the same result on each.

I’ve received a new phone as an upgrade when my old contract ended. The new phone is a LG G5 SE.

The original phone was purchased from Carphone Warehouse in Dec 2014. The phone I’m attempting to simswap to was sent to me by EE.
