I'm locked out of my phone I forgot the password

I got a new phone yesterday, I've forgotten my password and am now locked out. What can I do

You are normally given two password options such as a pattern or a password, have you forgotten both? 

 

What device do you have? 

 

If you have an Android device and know your Google account details you can factory reset.
