I have iphone 5s which was originally on EE but I don't have the sim. I have got a Coop mobile Sim card which works in it as they use the EE network and what I would really like to do is unlock it. Any suggestions?

My first suggestion is to use the search as there are hundreds of threads on unlocking.
Please read EE guide which explains the process:

Thanks for your reply and I guess you get a lot of unlocking requests. However in this case I only have an MVNO sim (co-op mobile) so is it possible for EE to unlock it? The Co-op people are a bit clueless on this sort of thing.

As your phone was locked to EE originally, it will be EE who has to unlock your device. You need to follow the second hand process as per the above link.

Did you buy this device yourself new direct from EE or is it 2nd-hand? The unlocking process & costs are different. Is it on contract or PAYG?
