I'm in Nepal on business and need to use a Nepalese sim card asap - as in by tomorrow!
I put in a request to unlock my iPhone (I have an EE business contract older than 6 months), but it says it could take another 10 days.
If there was some way of speeding this process up it would really save my bacon!
Thanks in advance,

Is this the first time you requested the unlock today?
If so then so there is no way to speed this up.

@AndrewStart It takes up to 10 days and nothing can be done to speed this process up. It would be quicker for you to purchase a cheap device there and use that.

Thanks both, I thought you might say that. Annoying really as there's nothing in this world that actually takes 10 days these days.

@AndrewStart It takes up to 10 days that doesn't mean it will take 10 days. And it will all depend when EE start the process as they will do this in batches of unlock requests.

It's been 17 days and I've not heard back with any code yet (indeed the email they sent said it would be withiin 10 days). It's becoming a bit of a problem. Is there any way of actually contacting EE customer service when out of the country?

The only way to contact the team from abroad is to use our get in touch pages.
