EE won't unlock phone, saying I have an iPhone (I don't)

Hi,

EE have said they can't unlock my Huawei P20 Pro because they've contacted apple about my "iPhone" and that apple have said it wasn't provided by them (obviously, because I don't have one it's a Huawei and it says on my account that's what it is). Now I'm in China and can't get a new SIM, it's costing me a lot more money for roaming. I'm a paying customer, I don't know how to get this sorted since I can't call cause of the prices and I can't seem to find any email option.

Hi @couldcryrn.

Welcome to the community.

Have you had an iPhone in the past, or have you swapped phones with someone else on your account?

Did you provide the IMEI of your Huawei to our unlocking team?
