EE being difficult as usual

How come iphones are being unlocked automaticaly after contract ends but everything else doesn't? After decade with EE/Orange my contract ended on 18th requested unlock on 20th but EE being difficult and taking their time to deal with something so simple.

It should be automaticaly done at the end of the cotract.

Still waiting.

I am sorry to hear you're leaving us. 

 

It can take up to ten days to receive your unlock code, however sometimes it may take longer if we have to contact the manufacturer.

 

If you haven’t received your code within ten days and haven’t received a text saying we’re waiting for the codes from the manufacturer, please get in touch with our customer service team.

And everything else even after 24 months can't have it. Something isn't right, Ofcom should take a look at this.
