Are some customers privileged?

Made a request to unlock Galaxy S7 Edge on 20th, today is 29th. People say it's up to 10 days blah blah...Than you have some people posting here and getting help with unlocking from mods, other posters are told to wait.

My contract ended on 18th, I want to move on with a phone I paid off and as with my previous post, EE is being difficult on purpose.

I had few phones unlocked over the last decade on Orange/EE while extending contracts and it never ook more than 48 hours

Yet when you end the contract it takes forever.

Re: Are some customers privileged?

@mustang33  No one is more favoured over anybody else at all.  If you got a old device unlocked before the set frame of 10 days then they you got lucky as it’s clearly states up to 10 days but that doesn’t mean it will be 10 days.  And no one gets help to unlock a device unless it’s gone pass the 10 day period.

Re: Are some customers privileged?

Thanks @mustang33

I would suggest following the advice in my previous post;

If you haven’t received your code within ten days and haven’t received a text saying we’re waiting for the codes from the manufacturer, please get in touch with our customer service team.

Thanks, Leanne.
