I only realised my phone is locked after buying a sim card in another country. So I have applied for it to be unlocked hoping it happens ASAP, it said after 72 hrs we will let you know if we need more time. It's been over a week now and no one has even sent me a confirmation message. It's been really frustrating.. I've been unable to use my new sim card for most of my travel and really DESPERATELY need it in the next few days. Please I beg for your help to get this resolved ASAP.

As per the EE unlock guide:
For all other devices, we aim to unlock all devices within72 hours. If we need a code from the manufacturer, it may taketen days.But we’ll be in touch if that’s the case.
You will need to call and speak to EE unlocking team, or wait for 10 days.

Thanks for your reply. I'm currently in the Middle East. And I have a Samsung S8+.
