my phone is barred from all calls

I need my phone whilst studying in France, I had to change my contract to a pay as you go sim and have paid for a package however I cannot use the package as my phone is "barred" from using calls texts and data. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hope you're having a lovely time studying in France. 

 

Where you in the UK when your SIM changed to pay as you go?

 

We recommend being connected to the EE network when this change is happening for the SIM to activate.

no i had a bad experience with my contract that I bought to use in france several months ago that I couldn’t use when out here so had to drop my sim to a pay as you go. I haven’t been in the UK since and it maybe a couple of months till im back again. Is there anyway around to get my phone working?

Thanks for coming back to me. 

 

Unfortunately if this has not been activated on the EE network there is no work around. 

 

As soon as you connect to the EE network this should activate.
