Did you ever get this fixed?
I have tried turning off iMessage, I have tried to amend my phone number on the settings, still nothing.
Any help would be great 🙂

Have you just migrated over?

hey @Northerner thanks for your reply! I have turned off imessage but still not receiving the OTP, also I moved my number over from giffgaff today and its gone over fine (can receive calls to my EE sim on my old number that the OTP is registered to) but I still can't receive the text

Your number hasn't ported over fully hence why you cannot receive the code. If you check under settings, is your temporary number still showing?
If you search these forums you will see this issue is common.

yes for for some reason I can’t receive them, but I’m getting concerned in case I miss my payments 😩

I have the same issue, unable to receive sms from Barclays. Everyone I have spoke to in the technical department, doesn’t know why. They have unblocked everything & I still can’t. I have only just joined with EE from O2, hope it’s not a mistake :0/

Yes, this seems to occur mainly with O2 ports.
I believe it's EE's text spam filters finding false-positives on certain legitimate constructs in bank's verification code texts. Funny it doesn't happen so much to those long-time with EE with their online banking. Yet EE is doing nowt in fixing it overall.

Hi. Did you ever get a solution to this? Sadly I am having the same issue, and no-one can seem to help & EE don't seem to be bothered. I'm also not receiving OTP's from other companies as well as my bank, so it's definitely not an issue with the bank as it's effecting other messages too.

Hi, did anyone get a solution to this?
I just moved to EE and am having the same problem not receiving OTP texts. From my bank and other companies too. I've been told no one can help me, and everyone is blaming someone else. If someone has had a situation where this has been solved I'd love to know.
