Why am I getting charged for picture messaging when I have not sent any?

For the second month running I have been charged 55p for a picture message that I did not send.  I have read and understand the EE criteria for picture messaging.  The charge this month is for a text message that consists 4 words. I have a screen shot of the message as evidence

I have phoned customer services twice but other than a promise of a refund that has not materialised, not much has happened.

Re: Why am I getting charged for picture messaging when I have not sent any?

Hi @ACQ,

Welcome to the EE Community.

There are a few reasons why your phone might convert an SMS message to MMS.

For more information please see Sending Picture Messages on EE.

Any refunds organised by Customer Care should show on your next bill.

Thanks
