VM OFF and VOICEMAIL DIVERT OFF both not working - going abroad tomorrow!

Hi All,

 

I have already searched the existing posts and see this is a re-occuring issue.

VM OFF, VMOFF and VOICEMAIL DIVERT OFF to 150 both return the message "We've had a problem with your request, please try again a little later"

 

Any solutions to ensure my voicemail is turned off and I'm not charged for this?

@vvv1979 Have you tried calling the 150 automated system?

 

There is an option when you call 150 to turn on or off your voicemail from the automated menus.

  

Option 1 for mobile phones, option 3 for tech support (voicemail option are in this menu but not mentioned), option 3 for voicemail then follow the instructions.

Hi 

I have same issues on my pay as you go

Tried numerous times to switch off the voicemail. Tried VM off and voicemail divert off before leaving UK 

 

Also my phone settings for call forwarding is off 

 

It gave me successful messages that it's done 

Numerous times I called my phone and it wasn't working 

 

Then all of a sudden it started working 

 

Now that I am abroad, voicemail is back on again

Tried VM off etc and it give network error 

 

Call forwarding is all off too but still if someone rings it goes straight to answering machine 

 

Tried ee customer service and all they did was reset my phone network settings and asked me try again but same no result 

 

Phone just goes directly to answering machine ... Won't even ring 

 

This is extremely annoying 

 

Using oneplus5t if it helps

Hello,

 

I am having the same issue.

I need to turn voicemail off but for days now have only had this reply;

"Sorry, we're having some trouble completing your request at the moment. Please try again later."

I have texted 150 with;

"VM OFF"

"VOICEMAIL DIVERT OFF"

" VM ON" - "VM OFF"

 

I have spoken with EE and they have reset my SIM and this has also not corrected the issue.

 

Very frustrating.

 

Please post the solution here ASAP.
