Texting premium number

Hi

 

I have tried a few times to enter a premium ITV competition via text which costs £2 to enter. The text fails as if there is some kind of block. When I was with Three, it worked fine.

 

I have contacted customer services twice, and both times they have confirmed there are no restrictions on my account. There is a spend cap of £5 so there is no reason the text will not send.

 

They suggested I contact the recipient as it is likely to be their issue. I doubt this as it worked fine when I was with Three. Any ideas?

I just thought id post what fixed this for me.

 

I deleted the conversation on my iPhone and created a new one. The message then delivered.

 

I suspect this is related to the fact that I have a physical O2 sim (work), and an EE e-sim (personal) on my iPhone. Even though I have messaged this number from my personal number before, this was when I was on Three a few months ago.

I'd try taking the spend cap off briefly, and seeing if that helps.

I forgot to mention, I had the cap increased to £10 and the issue remains.
