Text messaging

My iPhone will not send text messages I can call but text message keeps coming up failed
This is urgent need my phone due to ill health

Are you PAYG. iMessage uses data so try disabling iMessage .

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 8pm weekdays and until 6pm on weekends. Calls outside that time (till 10pm weekdays and 8pm on weekends) cost 50p per call. These costs also apply to calls to 07953 966 250.

I am having exactly the same problem. Message send failures for text messages. These are at random times and for random numbers that hitherto have been fine. Same thing is happening from my iPad. My contract is pay monthly. Can you help. Thanks

I have, thanks. I'm not on pay as you go and also the failures have often been to non iPhones so iMessage does not come into play. I'm awaiting a replacement SIM to see if that makes any difference.
