Suspect tesxt message re PAC code

I got a text, purporting to be from EE, saying my contract will be suspended if I don´t update my PAC code. I suspect the text may be fake, since nothing has happened for a few days. I need my phone for my work and am anxious it will suddenly cut out. I´ve tried ringing EE, but - for obvious reasons in the current climate - the wait is impossibly long. Please help.

Re: Suspect tesxt message re PAC code

Hi @smahier

Welcome to the EE Community,

It's fake EE wouldn't text you asking for a PAC code as they are the ones that would provide it to the customer.

Thanks,

David.

Re: Suspect tesxt message re PAC code

Thanks, David. My only worry is I clicked on it, since at first it did seem legit. Should I just delete it?
