Now I'm on EE PAYG sending 'balance' to 150 doesn't work any more.

I was switched from Orange PAYG to EE PAYG last month, not that I particularly wanted to move. I tried the various text commands to 150 and they seemed to all work. But sending 'balance' has not worked for about 3 weeks now. The message says EE are aware of the problem, but they are not fixing it very speedily. When will it be possible to use 'balance' again? (Commands like 'help' still get a proper reply).

Re: Now I'm on EE PAYG sending 'balance' to 150 doesn't work any more.

On EE PAYG, the command is 'BAL'. If you text BAL to 150, it will send you a text with something similar to this:

"Your current balance as of today xx:xx is £xx.xx. You have xxx minutes, unlimited texts and xx.xGB remaining until xx/xx/xxxx for your £xx xxxx xxxx. Your last top up was £xx.xx on xx/xx/xxxx at xx:xx

For info on our other Text Services, reply HELP or go to ee.co.uk/textservices"

Hope this helps!

Thanks, but BAL doesn't work either. Just get the same message and told to try again later.

On EE PAYG try BA or AL.

I'm on an EE monthly contract and Bal and All both work to 150 for me.

@Profile closed: Yes, I'm sure, but we're talking here of EE PAYG.

I'm on an EE PAYG and BA and AL have always both worked interchangeably for me.

& still do. Just tested it again & both work:

Well, both have worked for me on T mobile and on EE - when I've been on
PAYG and when I've been on contract.
