I was with a provider that recently went out of business, so I took my PUK into my local EE store and switched my old number over to a Pay As You Go SIM. Since then, I can't receive text messages - I can receive and make calls, and I can send texts fine, but it's just the receiving texts that's not working for me. I'm just wondering how to resolve this.

Can you get texts from anyone or is it certain types of texts like from banks ?

It's all texts as far as I can tell - stuff from friends in the UK and abroad, login verification texts from websites, etc.

@AmyWrites is your old sim disconnected ?
Have you spoken to EE technical support ?
This is interesting... I just put my old SIM back in it gave me a message letting me know it wasn't connected, but then all of the texts I've been expecting came through. So I have no idea what that's all about. Thanks for putting it in my head to check - I just assumed the SIM would be junk after the switch.
I haven't spoken to technical support - I came on here looking for a way to contact them and found the community instead. What's the best way to get in touch with them, please?
