A text the message saying I had to reset my billing info?

Received. A text message yesterday telling me to reset my billing info from XXXXXXXXXXX and another text today from 1200 telling me to reply “yes “ about how to upgrade! Neither of these were on the usual text message page? Is it I scam?

Hi @Lelly

Delete it. It's fake and a scam.

EE would never ask you for any account details over text or email.

Thanks

Hi @Glendude1

EE customers are getting hit hard by this scam over the last few weeks. It's hard to stop as the numbers change.

You get these scams occasionally.

Thanks

@Glendude1  @Lelly

  You can use THIS site to check phone numbers and EE wouldn’t text you from a vodaphone phone as in @Glendude1  case.

No. I just read what the text said but that’s all!
