The last person I spoke to was about 6 months ago, and all I got was a reduced rate for a few months.

In a word yes!
I have spoken with customer services on numerous occasions, had the box reset, hardrive wiped and then replaced...to have the same problem with the new box!
Really frustrated now and considering my options going forward as clearly we are not receiving the service we are paying for.
I can see posts from disgruntled customers going back a couple of years so not a new issue.
EE - Sort this out!

Yes only started happening again about two weeks ago. Freezes then reboots automatically missing bits of programs everywhere. I only re contracted in Dec Black Friday Deals stuck with issue. Miffed. Not really happy with wiping all the stuff I've recorded as there a decent amount. Still 60% of box free.
Wish EE could read error codes from box remotely and then know exactly the cause and save people lots of calls. Surely boxes produce error codes stored somewhere when they fail.
