using same sim account for 2 ipads

I have purchsed an extra Ipad Both ipads have sim card access Can I obtain an extra sim for same account or do I need to cancel sim and obtain 2 sims of half the data each to balance current sim data

@david561 : You can't have 2 SIMs with the same no. You will need to use 2 separate SIMs & nos. If they are on contract under the same MyEE a/c you will be able to gift data from 1 to t'other.
