keeping my card active online

Hello. I bought the pay as you go 25 GBP card (which includes 10 GBP). I barely used any of what it includes and would like to keep the card running.

I tried to do "chargeable activity" but it seems I'm unable to from Lebanon - can I do anything online to use the card (I prefer not to add money to it since I might not use it).

I understand I might lose the 10 GBP, but can I keep the card so I dont have to pay another 15 basic payment next time?

Thank you!

Re: keeping my card active online

You should be able to send a text from The Lebanon as long you have PAYG credit of at least 60p left.

Re: keeping my card active online

Thanks a lot Katie
. I was trying to do that (send an sms or anything to keep it active within 3 months) ..but im getting a fail notification.  Maybe because I'm in Lebanon now?  Roaming didnt seem to work. Can I keep activating it any other way?
Thanks again.

@SafaJafari  You have to make a chargeable call/text at least every other month to keep it active.

Hi @SafaJafari

Welcome to the community.

For your PAYG sim card to remain active you will need to make a chargeable call or text message every 180 days. You can find full information on the PAYG section on our website under 'The legal bit'.

I hope this helps 🙂
