i got an sms saying my number will be transfered at 08/01/2024. everywhere in the website it says it only takes couple of hours or one day. please help

SIM card set

I’ve just switched my mobile from BT to EE and have kept my old SIM card. It’s saying I have no service at all and even with WiFi calling switched on I’m unable to call EE or BT to get it sorted? Can anyone help at all?
