I was frustrated one day that in the top left hand corner had a No Service thing there, so I tried to fix it using the Reset Your Network Settings trick. It didn’t work, so I tried it over and over again for half an hour or so and it never worked. So then I researched harder and found out that you just need to wait half an hour... will the activation time go longer now? Or not?

Welcome to the community. 🙂
Are you having signal problems or are you awaiting a SIM activation of some sort?
Resetting the network settings forces your phone to re-search for the network. If there is a network signal available, it would pop up in a matter of seconds.
Could you check your area on our network status checker please?

I’m just wondering if having No Service in the top left of my iPhone screen is normal when waiting for it to activate. I’m new to EE, my last carrier was O2 and all you had to do is just top it up... and also is there any way that a sim could redo the activation time???

Also I think it’s been more that 24 hrs.... and there is still a “No Service” thing there, How do I take that away??

Ah, I see what you mean, @Marky27.
No resetting your network settings won't slow the activation process down.
Once your SIM activates, EE will appear in the top left corner.
Please check to see if there is a carrier update:-
Tap Settings >>> General >>> About. If a carrier update is available it will pop up on your screen.
Also, please try connecting manually to EE:-
Tap Settings >>> Carrier >>> Turn Automatic OFF >>> If EE pops up, tap on it >>> Turn Automatic back ON.
Let me know if any of that helps.
