Sim only upgrade and new phone

Hi,

 

I bought a phone in July 2016 on a 2 year contract and since the contract is ending I've upgraded to a SIM only contract, this has been fine and my SIM has been upgraded 'over the air' as expected.

My current plan is to buy a new unlocked phone outright and use my SIM card in that new phone but I just wanted to check that my SIM will be usable with the same number in a new phone before I buy one as on the My EE page my number is listed under 'Your Devices' as my previous phone which has made me a little bit doubtful about buying a new phone before checking.

You may put your EE SIM in any unlocked or EE phone & it'll work just as usual.

 

The device displayed by MyEE is purely cosmetic & doesn't affect anything. It will catch up eventually.
