SIM - no network??

Received a replacement Galaxy A5 yesterday through insurance, old phone worked but smashed screen. Put my SIM card in but now no network.phone has done several system updates. Turned on and off serveral times. In settings no network!

Did you get a new SIM with your replacement phone? If so, you may need to register the SIM.

Can you try the sim in another phone?

 

If it  works in another phone then the replacement phone is locked to another network or faulty. In that case you need to speak to your insurers.

Its a fault phone. Sun works fine in other phones. Can't contact EE as
their systems are down!
