SIM card is already associated

I have tried to add a new number to my account but each time it says SIM card is already associated.  I phoned up this morning and spoke to customer services and thought it had been resolved.

 

Has anyone had this happen to them?  I can top up ok but can't register the number to keep track of my usage.

Hi, 

 

If it's a newly registered number it can take 24-48 hours to register on EE system. This is the reason for this message.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

Thank you for the replies.

 

I will check again tomorrow as that will be 48 hours since I first contacted customer services.  Hopefully it will be sorted then but I will post to let you know.

It's been over 48 hours since I set up the new number and tried to register it but it still shows the SIM card is already associated message when I try to add the number to my account.

 

I will phone 150 later today to see what they say but will post their response here.
