PAYG sim not working in ex contract phone

Hi all,

 

so my friend gave me her upgrade contract phone on EE. I got a PAYG sim and put it in the handset but it’s showing no service! I’ve reset the phone several times but nothing...

 

help me!

There could be many reasons. 

 

  • All devices belong to EE for the first 6 months and are connected to the SIM on the contract.
  • Phones sold directly from EE are locked to EE so will only work with EE Sims/PAYG sims.
  • The phone is reported lost or stolen.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

Which network SIM have you stuck in it?
