No service with new sim

Hello

 

I've upgraded my son's plan to a SIM only deal as he has lost his phone so I got him a replacement phone from elsewhere and ordered a new SIM card from EE. the card has arrived but after nearly a week it's still showing no service on his phone. we can't activate the SIM as it requires the old phone and the only other option is to call 150 but we can't as there is no service. Is there a way I can fix this please?

If, for whatever reason, you can't use the online form to activate the new SIM, then you can call EE C/S on 0800 0798586 from any working phone.

What if you don't have access to a working sim as that's why you've got a new one?

If our Technical Support Team diagnosed your SIM as faulty and sent a replacement, it should be pre-activated.

Have you installed the SIM in your phone?
