No connection abroad

Hello, I landed in Switzerland a few hours ago and my phone says “no service” despite having used it in this country (and many others) before. Roaming (which in any case only applies to data) is switched on. I tried putting my SIM in another phone (to see if it was a SIM issue or a phone issue) and I have the same problem with the second phone, I still have “no service”. The person next to me at the airport had an EE phone and had no problem connecting to a local Swiss company’s network. I have tried switching phone off and on, obviously plane mode is off etc. Any idea what I can do? I can’t even call EE as I can make zero calls.

Can you still check your roaming and international calls settings.

 

Log into your on line account and then Menu - Manage Device - make sure you have activated roaming and international calls.
Or
From the MyEE app Current Usage - Controls - activate use phone abroad and make international and premium calls
