New customer sim set up

I’m a new customer and have just received my handset and a SIM card. I want to transfer my current number with Vodafone over to EE to this new handset. Am I right in thinking I insert the EE SIM card into the new phone and the fill in the online form to transfer the number across to EE? Do I need to do anything to activate the SIM card before requesting the number transfer?

Re: New customer sim set up

Hi @Jherring68,

That's right, your new SIM will be activated and ready to use.

You'll just need to enter you PAC code here.

Thanks for choosing EE.

Re: New customer sim set up

You are actually better off ringing EE to give them your PAC, that way the agent can enter the details there and then and give you the exact date the port will start.

Using the online form tends to just queue the requests and seems to take longer than phoning.
