New costumer

Hello, I am an international student coming to UK this month and I would like to set up a new sim card. My cellphone just stopped working, so I wanted to get an Iphone for free with pay per month deal, but I am not sure, if I am eligible to do so, as I am not from UK. I will also need the cellphone as soon as possible, so if anyone can tell me, if I should order the phone first, so I can pick it up at the store when I arrive.

Thank you for your answer

Re: New costumer

Hello @Dxnam4 do you have a UK address and bank account? You will need these to sign up for an EE contract.

You can order online:

https://shop.ee.co.uk/iphone

Or over the phone on 0800 956 6000. If you are not eligible for a contract you can choose PAYG:

I can probably use my University address, but bank account will take few days before I can have one. Can I still order it and maybe add my bank account later?

Re: New costumer

Hello @Dxnam4 no you will need an account set up ready for when you want to sign up. You need a UK credit rating and without a UK bank account you may not have one or may not have built up a good enough rating yet.

Your best option is to call them the sales team can check your eligibility or offer you any suitable alternatives. 🙂

Hi @Dxnam4 and welcome to the community.

Please do pop into one of our retail stores when you have settled into the UK and our team will be able to look into this for you.

Many thanks,

Lee
