How can I get a replacement Sim card?

When I bought my EE mobile phone you acepted my EU ID card as valid document.

However, now to get a SIM card replacement you dont't acept my EU ID card as valid document.

Very nice! Very good customer service!!

Take phone & old SIM into an EE shop & they'll transfer number, credit & (SIM) contacts to a replacement SIM of correct size for free or order a replacement SIM online at https://explore.ee.co.uk/Order-a-new-SIM for £10.

Hi Leanne,

I have a  EE pay monthly plan.

My SIM card is the Standard one and I need replacement to a Nano SIM card to use it in a new device.

Thanks

@afrs: You could use the online form https://explore.ee.co.uk/Order-a-new-SIM . It's now only £1.50.

Hi @afrs

Thanks for coming back to me.

You can order a SIM online as @XRaySpeX has advised.

Or, you can give us a call and we can order you a SIM to be posted out.

Hope this helps 🙂

Leanne.

Re: How can I get a replacement Sim card?

I really, really disapointed!!!

After try to get a new SIM card in a EE shop and they didn't acept my EU ID card I followed you instructions and ordered a new SIM card online form https://explore.ee.co.uk/Order-a-new-SIM.

SURPRISE!!! I received at home the same SIM card (exactly the same size) I have in my old mobile phone.

Incredible!!! That's the most dificult thing to do. Change a MICRO SIM CARD for a NANO SIM CARD.

CRAZY!!!

Re: How can I get a replacement Sim card?

@afrs: You sure it's not a combo-SIM where you press out the size you want? That's what EE usually send out.

Yes! There's a combo - SIM (standard) and Micro SIM

Doesn't have NANO SIM.

Re: How can I get a replacement Sim card?

@afrs: Surely it does? The little white 1 in the middle. Might not be too obvious. EE only use 3-part combos.

Re: How can I get a replacement Sim card?

@afrs: Are you on TMobile? They seem to have sent you a TMobile SIM. Maybe TMobile didn't do 3-way combi-SIMs. You need to phone up for replacement TMobile SIMs.

Re: How can I get a replacement Sim card?

What does texting NUMBER to 150 tell you? I believe that as well as telling you what your mobile no. is it also tells you the brand you are on.
