Get a new number for old sim

If you do a sim swap for a EE PAYG Micro Sim to Nano Sim, is it possible to get a new number for the old micro sim, to use in the old phone?

The old SIM will be deactivated when you get the replacement with the same no. Just order a new free SIM online or in store..
