Have you taken the SIM card out and given it a rub and put it back in? It could be either your phone or your SIM card has developed a fault?
Are you able to test your SIM card in another phone to make sure it is working and/or have someone put their SIM card in your phone to see if it is working ok? If you are near an EE store you could get them to check this out.
You should be able to get a replacement SIM card

When did you last make a chargeable call or text?
Also what phone do you have and did you get it from EE?

it nothing to do with “have you checked network “ etc it’s the incompetence of the EE engineers this is only happening to ex orange customers ,mine has been out since Thursday . Numerous calls to customer services and promises it will be resolved “in a few hours “ still nothing and it’s sunday now .

@Profile closed, Do you mean customer service when you ring them? I rarely contact them, but when I do, I do get a response, or do you mean in the forum? If in the forum, this depends when they are available and what questions you have, as account based, you do have to ring them up.

forum has been very helpfull
customer service could of been a bit more forthcoming with info I left customer services twice thinking I was the only one affected and didn't realise it was many more people until I came on the forum
