Can an expired SIM be resucitated?

I purchased a PAYG SIM with an excellent phone number in April 2018 and used the phone in the UK until June.  I returned to Australia and haven't used it since.  I failed to top up the account, send a txt or make a call, and understand the SIM has probably expired.  Can I resucitate the number as it is too good to lose!

Re: Can an expired SIM be resucitated?

Good Morning @Kanga

If the SIM has passed the hibernation period we won't be able to reactive this number for you to use.

The number will be disconnected after 273 days.

Thanks, Katie 🙂

Hi @Kanga

No, once it's expired then it's lost.

Thanks

Re: Can an expired SIM be resucitated?

On the slim chance that you topped-up or made a chargeable call or text (not from the pack) in June it would have entered hibernation in Dec but you would have until March to call EE to get it reactivated.
