topup for China

I use monthly topup in the uk because I am not always continuously in the uk, so it's a waste to have a contract plan.

I want to topup credit for use  in China, but I can see elsewhere that the normal topup plan "grabs" the usual monthly amount, which I don't want to use.

How should I topup so that only my actual usage will be deducted?

pay as you go and China

I use pay as you go in the UK.  When I topup the money is grabbed and used for my plan.  I want to top up so this doesn't happen and I have credit for roaming in China and the occasional necessary call or text.  What must I do?

Re: topup for China

Text STOP PACK to 150 before you next top-up & you can use the SIM as normal PAYG at standard per-unit rates. Be aware you can only call & text from your credit; data can only be had from a roaming add-on.
