i have tried dialling this as well as putting +34 in front but it won’t connect

Have you been able to make any other calls? If not then it looks like roaming may not be properly set up.
Have you tried using 0034 instead?

I can call numbers in uk
when I try to login to EE, it won’t let me as it says my number is not recognised
but I know I am with ee
no idea what to do here

i do, it is the error in the title
it appears that am oncoprporate network and need to call 158
they say it should be working

I did speak to them apparently I needed to call 158
They said everything looks ok and it should be working.
So unfortunately it looks like I am out of options

Did you ring 158?
They will be able to access your account and run through some troubleshooting steps with you.

Yes I have called 158. This is an essential number for corporate users to know
However They ran some checks and said everything looks ok and it should be working.
Interestingly my wife is a personal user and she is also unable to make calls here
really odd, I have never experienced an issue roaming anywhere previously

I'd recommend speaking with them again and asking them to help you to resolve the problem.
Alternatively, is there another number you can call to get in contact with the police?

Spoke to someone else who told me to connect to the Movistar network
when I do this I receive a different message:
“the number you have dialled has not yet been assigned to a client”
i am able to call Portugal and other overseas numbers
the issue is limited to Spain

Apparently my number is not presenting its CLI which with my extremely limited telecoms knowledge means Caller Line Identification

@Shaptoni, This may help, an you may want to take a look here:
If your number is hidden, then that may be the cause, you need to make sure that your number is showing to the person you are ailing, you should be able to check this under settings.

I didn’t know this and have switched on caller Id and spam protection
I configured it to share name and number but still doesn’t allow to to make any calls however

Yes. I have a reference number and they are looking into it. Last I heard was Friday, hopefully they will have something today
