Hi,

I've got an EE wifi hub which ive never use, and am just about to set up.

Which payg SIM option would be best to use abroad ?Initially Spain and Andorra ?

Thanks

Re: sim for wifi hub abroad

Whichever SIM you get its supplied allowances are only for UK. To use it abroad you will need to top-up sufficient to buy a data roaming add-on - see http://explore.ee.co.uk/roaming/ee/spain .

To phone EE: The local rate landline number +44 207 362 0200 or Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobiles; Option 2 for 4G WiFi; Option 3 for Home Broadband & EE TV.

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC => 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC

Re: sim for wifi hub abroad

How long are you planning on using it for though, as it sounds like you are based outside the UK now?

The only reason I ask is because all UK & EU mobile networks (including EE) now only allow roaming in another country for up to a maximum of 30 days at a time.  After that point you have to connect to the 'home' network again (in this case EE) to continue with service.

That condition only applies to contracts not PAYG.
