no network in Spain, husband has 3 and no problem at ALL

I am really annoyed with the ongoing lack of service in certain areas of Spain. This in contrast with my husband who is with 3 and has no problems at all.

I have no service at all. I have tried to restart, to select manually, etc that used to sort out the problem but nothing.

i need a solution.

Dear Leanne

When selecting another carrier manually
Very briefly a few bars appear to fade within seconds.
My husband has full service with 3 and so does my son with giffgaff.

Did you activate roaming on your MyEE a/c before you left? Presumably not. Having a roaming allowance does not auto enable it. You may still be able to in your online a/c under Manage Devices. If not, you will need to call EE. Use the landline nos. in my sig.

Has this worked previously for you?

Is roaming showing active in your My EE account as @XRaySpeX suggested?

Speak soon, Leanne.

Re: no network in Spain, husband has 3 and no problem at ALL

Dear Leanne
I have been an EE customer for 15 years.
I have come to this area of Spain every year and I experience on and off problems , normally used to be solved by selecting manually Movistar as there no signal for Orange here.
This is my first time here with the iphone X.
I am really dissatisfied with the service, it clearly blocking access to Movistar .
It’s a severe failure to customers and a repeated one.

Hi @maitoes

What happens if you try and select an alternative network in the iPhone settings?

iPhone – Settings > Carrier > Toggle Automatic OFF

Thanks, Leanne.
